To develop and lead your stewardship ministry you will need to select the right person to act as a Stewardship Coordinator. This is a vital role and before anyone is approached, it is important to pray for the right person. Include your church board and ministry team in praying for the right person.

The Stewardship Coordinator’s role is to encourage the development of a culture of stewardship within your church life. In order to develop that culture you need to preach it; teach it; celebrate it; and model it. The Stewardship Coordinator will work with the pastor and ministry leaders to motivate, encourage and resource them. They will be responsible for

reminding, encouraging, resourcing the pastor to preach and communicate in other ways about Biblical stewardship
